Electricity

Revisiting the squid and his kite... who knew they had so many ribs!

I'm not thrilled with the kite but I'm pretty happy with the bottom two-thirds of this one.

Homage

An homage to Picasso and cubism - and, of course, a squid.

Thank you Arsmor for my new watercolors - they are beyond amazing - ting!

Pet Peeves

When your ink has plans of its own...

Garden

Nothing like home-grown food fresh from the garden!

Watercolor and ink by Miz K. Come back soon to see what Ars has cooked up... it's going to be nifty!

Leap

Blanket

Watercolor and ink. The original doesn't have a border, however when scanned, the colors lost some of their subtlety and I had to add one to keep the painting from falling off the page. Ah well.

Stitch

I have a "stitch" squid coming as well, but thought I would go with the shrimp this time. I think he's knitting a scarf... I don't know who he is looking at outside of the picture...

Comments welcome!

100 Percent

I was 100% out of ideas on this one, so I went with another squid. 100% goofy. You may notice the bubbles are shaped vaguely like a 100...

Little Things!

When I was little, my best friend and I used to love going to the creek and catching minnows. I used to wonder what went through their heads as they swam circles in their jar.

Also in keeping with the theme, this painting is the size of an average postcard. Little thing!
